I've been busy getting Christmas gifts all made, and I'm finally done!
I made 10 Christmas plates with almond roca, peanut brittle, turtles, carmels, carmel fudge, chocolate mint cookies and oreo choclate balls. Everything tasted good. I made tags for all my gifts too.
My next project was gifts for my friends. I made these glass blocks you just buy at lowes, then adhered vinyl lettering on, and tied it with a bow and berries. They look really pretty with a light behind it.
I made tile pictures that you display on a book holder for my mom and Anthony's mom. I believe I'm safe posting a picture of these before I see them at Christmas, as I don't think either of them check the blog regularly. If they do, I guess there goes a surprise! Anyway, I made an everyday use tile, and one for each of the seasons. I want to make me a set later on for myself when I feel ambitious.
I also made one other thing for my sister and my sister in law, but I'll have to wait to post that one until after Christmas.

recent creations
I'm so excited about my clock I just made! I've had plans to make it for a year, but I finally got a spare minute, and completed it. Here's a couple pictures, and up close too to see the crackle marble effect.
I made some bows for Sabrina last week with my sisters, they're kinda fun too. I used to make headbands when she was younger, but she finally has enough hair to clip now!
Here's some pictures of my oil paintings I did (with the help of my mom of course) My mom is super talented, and she helped me with these paintings that now hang in my dining room. I'll cherish these forever.
This Jackson family wood craft was kinda fun. You just hinge together pieces of wood, decorate, and modge podge on top. The basic format was from a super saturday activity, and I ran with it. I've made another fun one as a wedding gift as well.
I've really enjoyed this calender I made. I saw it in a magazine, and just altered it to my liking. (However, I will never make another one. I helped make this calender with 3 of my sisters, then when my friends saw it, they wanted one too, and I helped make 2 more.) I use it sort of as a journal, and record cute things about Sabrina on it, or accomplishments and news of our family.
I'll have to post some pics of scrapbook pages I've done lately, but I haven't done any in the last 6 months. Enjoy!
